*Dawsonismsとは
アランのメソッドを水野オサミがモデイファイし、短いソロとしてまとめた物で、日本ではアラン・ドーソン・ドラム・メソッドとして（発売：音楽之友社）出版されている。 海外に於いては、今年2001年4月号より7月号まで4回にわたり、アメリカのモダンドラマー誌に寄稿が決定し全米、ヨーロッパに紹介されている。
この「Dawsonisms」 という素敵なネーミングはモダンドラマー編集長ロンからの粋な計らいで与えられた。

His teaching method is legendary and was considered a fruit from his actual playing experience in the field of education.
